Game-Changing Updates, $KOBAN, and a Year of Success!
Warning! An unknown species of citrus snails, angry beetroots, and stone turtles has invaded Cosmocadia! But do not fear, brave reader — we have recently discovered that these unique critters are native to Cosmocadia and are part of our latest big content update.
Cosmocadia is back with a major gameplay update, and we have unveiled the grand opening of city hall with the introduction of six new ambassadors. Plus, $KOBAN, Lucky Kat’s portfolio token, is coming in hot and will be used in Cosmocadia. There’s so much more to explore! Grab your coffee and dive into what’s new in Cosmocadia.
Cosmocadia Gameplay Update 1.09
As a belated Valentine’s gift, in February we released the official soft launch version of Cosmocadia on Android and iOS, introducing an overhaul of the game’s appearance, mechanics, and NFT utility. The reception from our colourful community exceeded our expectations! User acquisition data and community feedback allowed us to refine the initial build, developing the blueprints for the next anticipated update.
Over the last four months, our talented product, development, and art teams focused on creating a more realised version of Cosmocadia, fitting the cozy casual genre we aimed to meet.
What new features were added?
- PC Build — Cosmocadia finally made its way back to the big screen! Now you can play Cosmocadia on both mobile and desktop.
- Avatar NFT Integration — Holders of our Avatar NFT collection can play with their colorful characters. Do you own multiple species? Connect your wallet and swap between your cute roster of NFTs while you play.
- Critter Companions — Eight critters found a home in Cosmocadia! Catch the infamous critters, a native Cosmocadian species that will help automate resource collection if you befriend them. Welcome critters by building and expanding their own houses.
- Land Expansion — The Cosmocadia map has grown, allowing players to explore the mystical forest, stone shrines, and more. Collect and refine resources to create the ultimate utopia.
- Construction Work — Gather resources to construct Kat’s Kitchen, the blacksmith area, and much more.
This update is a continuation of the soft launch we released in February, emphasising our core mechanics of ‘gather and build.’ Many of the latest additions are only the tip of what you can expect to see. Critters will become NFTs, the sacred forest will have a higher $KOBAN purpose, and the land of Cosmocadia will keep expanding.
Cosmocadia City Hall is Open
The Cosmocadia ballot boxes were overflowing as the community came together to vote for Cosmocadia’s first wave of ambassadors. We welcomed six new members in the first phase of our Ambassador Programme. A big congratulations to Premier Jon, Stravia, Nefarii, Trevin, MrBreadSmith, and Lady BBrainz. It is an honor to have local Sui natives represent and share Cosmocadia with the wider web3 ecosystem.

One year of Cosmocadia & Big GIPHY milestones
If you didn’t think Cosmocadia was colourful enough, on May 24th we celebrated our first official birthday! The team cannot believe it has been one year since the release of our GENESIS Avatar NFT collection and original demo v1. Together with our supportive community, we have reached the next level of achievements:
- Launched our GENESIS collection of 5555 diverse avatar NFTs that sold out within 24 hours
- Released our first-ever demo on mint with instant avatar NFT utility after Sui Mainnet
- Completely rebranded Cosmocadia with a design overhaul
- Released our Island NFTs, comprising the desert and snow biomes
- Reached a staggering 9m+ views on Giphy
- Relaunched the latest version of Cosmocadia on Android, iOS, and PC

$KOBAN is coming! $KOBAN is the portfolio token of Lucky Kat Studios, which will fuel an interconnected ecosystem of games like Panzerdogs and Cosmocadia. And guess what? That is not even the best part. We recently announced in our cosy bi-weekly X Space Cosmocadia Coffee Hour that we will be reviving titles from our portfolio of over 100 web2 games and bringing them into the $KOBAN ecosystem. Just wait… the bean-spilling continues. Get your tools ready, we are heading to the battlefield for a big $KOBAN tournament! Cosmocadia will join Panzerdogs for the first season of their monthly Sui collaboration tournaments, prepare to get your $KOBAN bags filled.
Our development team is working hard on fixing all reported bugs in our next hot-fix update. In Q4 (Oct-Dec), you can expect a massive content update where critters will become mintable, you can become a style icon with fashion battles, and level up your character as you explore a new Cosmocadia to build.
